Dr. Carmona stresses the importance of thorough, periodic wellness examinations that may lead to early detection and help alleviate serious health issues. Below is a wide range of veterinary services that we offer to keep your companion feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Surgical Services: We offer a wide variety of general and specialized surgical procedures. Our state-of-the-art surgical suite, reserved solely for surgical procedures, provides a sterile environment and optimizes infection control. We are fortunate to have onboard the expertise of Dr. David Spranklin.
Dr. Spranklin is part of a group of select veterinarians (https://www.acvs.org) that choose to continue their training after veterinary school and become specialized in surgery. He is available on an on call basis for surgical consults and certain specialized procedures.

Anesthesia and Pain Management: We utilize the safest available anesthetics and analgesics (pain medications) tailored to each individual patient, providing an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. Your pet's core body temperature is supported by a forced air warming unit thereby promoting fast and smooth recoveries.

Radiology Services: Our on-site, state of the art digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. All of our radiographic images are read and interpreted by a board certified veterinary radiology specialist to ensure that even the subtlest lesions are not overlooked.

Electrocardiography Services: Our on site electrocardiogram can transmit the electrical activity of your pets heart instantly for the review of a veterinary cardiologist to make the most accurate assessment about your pets medical condition

Ultrasonography: This modality of imaging allows further evaluation of important organs and adds to our ability to diagnose complex problems. Dr. Jeffrey Toll (advancedvetmed.com) , a board certified internal medicine specialist, is available on call to offer his skills and expertise in some of our more complicated cases.

Veterinary Acupuncture: We are fortunate to have the expertise of Dr. Jeannette Basto CVA (myholisticvet.com) to provide outpatient veterinary acupuncture treatments as a complementary means of arriving at your pets utmost state of wellness.

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for urgent serum chemistry (including electrolytes), hematology, serology, urinalysis, blood gases and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We routinely insert subcutaneous microchip identification. This can be performed with or without anesthesia.
